TWS Won't Show UP on My Desktop?

I can log in, it shows up on the taskbar (toolbar) (startbar)? but
it is not on any of my monitors. It also shows up in Windows Task
Manager as running but I can not see TWS anywhere. Anyone
ever have this drastic problem? Help! :(

When I make my taskbar dissapear, I do not see TWS. How did
you figure this one out?
 
Hmmm. might be a java problem. I cannot get AutoTrader to
come up on the desktop either, even though it says it's running
too...

Just a friendly tip: Make sure your tws station is dedicated. That is, install a fresh copy of windows - get it current to the correct service pack and ensure everything is working. Next install your java runtime and insure it is working. Next install the tws software and get it working in your network environment. Once everything is working DO NOT install any new software except for the TWS updates - which if they dont work can easily be rolled back. Back up the working configuration- and make sure you know how to recover it.

You need to be behind a firewall (hardware prefered)- a cheap one like the netgear 614 would work just fine and works with the TWS software.

If you do all this on a reasonable quality PC everything should work without incident. If you still have problems they are probably a network issue with your ISP or network provider. We have very few problems with this software.
