TWS: orders with tickers

Hello, is it possible in TWS to have pending orders without having a related data line for the product? I want to place a maximum of orders but don't want to use some of the 100 data lines provided by IB for these orders.

how do you make the data line disappear? I must be an idiot. I got a message :"this ticker cannot be deleted because it has an order".
 
I haven't seen this error message, but if this works as everything else in TWS: cancel order -> [restart TWS] -> delete data line -> re-enter order. Restarting might not be necessary, but this is TWS, so who the hell knows? Try first without.

If this doesn't work, then I don't have the foggiest. :) GL
