TWS down ??

Me too, in NY, no login through webtrader
either. Called Hong Kong, got the story that
there is a system outage, and many customers
are affected. They said they expect it should
be fixed in about 15 min.

Just came back up, no prices yet ...
 
this is not the first time i've been in a position and this has happened. anybody have a good alternative to IB for trading the HSI and SGX? when i pay a company over $4,000/month in commissions i expect redundancy and less lag than i get.

i trade the US market too and the only 'solution' is 2 separate accounts to different servers. ib won't even consider making up the 'no interest on 1st $10m on one account'- not to mention the need to have enough $ in each account to be able to trade my strategy without running out of margin.

suggestions?....
