If the data provider is not able to provide the data, then how you can see latest Bid/Ask/Mid/Spread prices in your portfolio and not on your chart?
Different pipe?

Not sure if TSLA volume has any correlation with number of IB's accounts which got the data feed. There was a problem on TSLA when it was very busy a few weeks ago.
Different pipe?
Quite interesting......so architecturally if there are multiple paths/routes/pipes for data, data itself is present and one path/pipe is working and other path/pipe is not working then.
Technically speaking Its data bandwidth and the refresh rate and graphically its FPS-Frames per second.I'd assume the data going into the charts is much higher frequency than that being used for portfolio updates, so may originate from different sources and take different paths to you. Not to mention.. pushing a time history of bars vs a snapshot

Why do you think that data originates from different source? As that will create another issue such as data integrity.
You're purely speculating then.I don't have an opinion one way or another. I'm just saying that MAY be the case.
