Why?
For the record, there is no right or wrong answer to this question. It’s the old where do we draw the line question. Lots and lots of opinions can be right but where do we end out?
For the record, I say you can ban assault rifles as long as you can reasonably protect your person and property (there may be another stipulation as well but I don’t recall right now).
Please define “assault weapons”. Most, and I’d say MOST 99.9999% of people haven’t a clue and define assault weapons solely by the way they look, i.e. stock design, picatinny rail etc. which means little.
If you’re after all semi-automatics, then you have an uphill climb. Assault bans are just feel good laws and in reality do little falling far from their original intent.
