Two Norwegian traders outsmarted Timber Hill HFT algo ? Maybe six years in prison...

To me, it's a simple case of the front-runner (Timer Hill, aka, Interactive brokers) got tricked into pre-mature front-running.

This is similar to cops tricking men into sexual solicitation.

The Norwegians' action is moral, it exposes the evilness of IB, aka, Timber Hill market maker.
 
The hipocresy of these rulings reminds me of cases where people are stopped by police for "driving while black"...
in this case these Norwegians got arrested for "influencing prices while human"...
