TWITTER Updates : How do I stop them ?

Last night I was fooling around with my Iphone 7 and I was on my TWITTER app.

I decided to 'open' some Twitter links so I would not have to open them individually to read updates etc....

Most all of them are Business and News related Tweets.

That thing was been dinging all day long with notifications and new tweets.

I tried to return to where I was before making the changes, but I could not find the link to close some Tweets that are getting 'pushed' to me.

I went to Settings, Notifications and there was nothing there........

I went to TWITTER and I hit every link at the top of TWITTER and can't find the 'button' that turns off instant tweets from them.

I tried to make the changes from my laptop and nada thing there either.

It has to be easy, I have already exhausted every alternative that does NOT work.

How do I cut them off ?

Thanks, I got that far.

But that turns them on and off collectively.

How do I return to the site that allows me to turn off individual followers.

Fortune and Forbes send out a lot of tweets........so does Jim Cramer and Pete Najarian

lots of tweets but not always useful...

I was looking for a more reasonable alternative.

How come I get different posts on my laptop than I do on my phone?

I stopped some tweets by deleting the 'follow' but there are some that I follow and never receive tweets and others that I receive like .....every 10 minutes...like Marketwatch.....

How do you 'follow' someone but turn on the function that does not allow every tweet to arrive so I can just click them on and read their posts later?

Life is tough........
