I've been listening to the interview for the past 20 minutes or so and if Trump consistently talked like this instead of pandering to morons he could actually change the momentum.

What is Trump saying. I am not listening to this interview.
The descriptions of it so far are saying that Trump is slurring his words and Musk is trying to steer him at times to talk about policy --- but Trump is all over the place.
What are the topics that Trump is talking about in the last 20 minutes and what is he doing different in this talk then his usual rally style pandering?
Musk is driving the conversation which is certainly helping. He isn't baiting him to say something stupid. I tuned in during a talk about energy policy. They also talked about immigration. He's still exaggerating Harris, but it's about policy, not what race she is. I think it's clear he has does have respect for Musk. I believe this is the stuff his campaign wants him to focus on, but he is too unfocused/incompetent on his own.
Trump would do well to take a page from Poilievre in Canada. However, the CPC doesn't take crazy positions that make no sense to most developed secular democracies like banning abortion or letting everybody own assault weapons.
A laughable claim. Even his own employees say it ain’t so.

And while we write... Morning Joe is up late dissecting every syllable said so when he gives his spin tomorrow morning, DAAR Mika (google the Trump daar nickname) can break down sobbing about how democracy is doomed...

This part however is special weird.
"She looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live," Mr Trump said about a Harris' picture on Time.
"It was a drawing, and actually, she looked very much like a great first lady, Melania," he added.
"She didn’t look like Camilla, that’s right, but of course, she’s a beautiful woman, so we’ll leave it at that, right?”
