Twitter and Musk

Only the bottom of the barrel media companies allow such ads.

There was article years ago that pointed out those gold companies that advertised on conservative media sold gold 30-50 % higher than market price. Obviously because they knew listeners/viewers of conservative media were so fucking stupid that they wouldn't know any better.

Uuuuuuh---- I didn't hear that when he was on CNBC,,, but he did say something similiar to that regarding Instagram. All I heard was "Twitter has fixed the problem".
You can't run a business and hire 100,000 people to search for a needle in a haystack. You use tech. Elon's specialty.

Just remember that Musk’s “algorithm” to search for child exploitation material is dependent on Google Cloud. Elon has not been paying his cloud bills to Amazon or Google since March. He is about to be cut off. If Musk has no Trust & Safety employees and no algorithm stopping CSAM material then how is he going to control child exploitation material on Twitter?

Musk's "roughly break-even" Twitter still not paying bills

What if, what if.... what if a meteor lands on us tomorrow?

When the debate comes down to "what if's" vs what is happening in the here and now... you've lost the debate. When GOOG kicks TWTR out, then we can speak of that. Until then..

Elon Musk Makes a Stunning Offer to Don Lemon And Rachel Maddow

The billionaire entrepreneur bought Twitter in October for $44 billion and made it a bastion of conservatives by imposing the only rule: the law.

Of course you are stating this on the same day that a new report has come out outlining how child exploitation material is out of control on Twitter with little to no moderation. Likewise a coalition of Twitter’s former major advertisers told the new Twitter CEO to get the hate material & CSAM problem fixed on Twitter before they would consider advertising on the platform.

Not only does Musk not pay his bills, today Twitter is being sued for $250 Million by 17 large music publishers representing nearly all of the major artists for copyright infringement— basically Twitter 2.0 has ignored nearly all the take down notices sent to it and allowed copyrighted material including music and movies to be posted on the platform without any restriction or moderation.

I guess Twitter 2.0 is using the same failed nearly nonexistent moderation methods for copyrighted works that they use for CSAM material.

Don’t be surprised when Le petite Governor makes you pay your taxes in dog coin too…

shocking I know

Disagree completely. Musk's shown his politics, has seen the value of moving the mob, has backed his DeSantian horse and more than likely will engineer the platform to sway elections that favor his interests. There's the value in he platform, putting in power a party that cuts taxes and subsidizes industries/companies they favor
I even claimed the value to Musk is in controlling the conversation for political and eventual monetary goals through legislation, not through monetizing the platform directly. (a tad tinfoil I'll admit). Though why would Rupert Murdoch, Bezos, and on and on own media companies otherwise?
