Twitter and Musk

Oh, quite so.

Tesla did not/ is not shutting their Shanghai factory down because everyone in China is pissed that Elon is in trouble with Twitter. Duh! Even though the usual suspects want it to be so.

In addition to the fundamentals, the reality is that the herd has been shorting it all year. It is the most shorted symbol in the market. So that alone creates a reality of its own.

China in 1 to 2 years will really flood the market and Lucid is.gaining ground. Also.people with brand loyalty to lets say Audi and BMW will go for their EV offering and have better service plans.

I view Teslas as the Crocs of footwear. Unless they solidify a new or growing revenue stream despite Musk they will get beaten down a bit more as competition takes.more.of the market. The market is hundreds of millions of cars so Tesla.still can have a nice chunk of it but the stock valuation.will come.down to earth as it settles into this new environment. I would never short that stock outright because it the potential manipulation but puts for sure.

I am waiting for Musk to come up with a tweet to push tsla higher :)

As I said the other day, watch for a bounce when Elon announces a new CEO for Twitter. It may be shortlived but it will occur.

There is politics at play in the decline of Tesla and it is not just the discontent around the Twitter scenario.

Tesla is sort of what Volvo used to be. It virtue signals that you are liberal and woke and green and plenty of Americans have been willing to put up with plenty just to get one and get on with the signaling. Twitter aside, Elon's stating that he leans republican now was like dropping a giant, giant turd into the punchbowl. The virtue signaling value of your Tesla just plummeted. BIGTIME. (I wonder how AOC feels about her Tesla now, okay, I digress)

Twitter has been valued as a leading edge high tech stock. Now it is entering a period where it is being valued as one more offering in the automotive sector. Not very profound to say but has profound implications. As I said above, people have put up with a LOT to own a Tesla for some fluffy reasons that may or may not still exist.

I saw this article early this morning (not exactly this one, but I googled up a similar one to post here). It shows the "inflection point" that is going on out there.

NIO probably going to be big player over time too. Have to add some time into the mix.

Tesla Model S owner passes incredible one million mile mark, but may switch to Lucid

Just doing a quick check here to see if GWB has reported on the up move in TSLA today after having religiously reported every down tick for weeks.

Nope. I don't see anything.

Situation normal.

So how is the Tesla stock price doing? Musk is such a genius.
