Twitter and Musk

fucking lol; good luck charging 20/month for shit posting. Who knew "freedom of speech" had a steep price tag

I love the irony in him charging a fee for "freedom of speech" to have a verified Twitter account.

If I'm not mistaken, I think it was proposed to Baron to charge ET members a small fee to help minimize the multiple aliases we have at this forum and to better manage "freedom of speech".

:wtf:

If TSLA takes out $180 then look out below. then Elon will be fighting battles on two fronts with Twitter and Tesla and does not look good. I wish Elon would take Twitter public just so I can short it.

Musk: "Sign this form saying you agree to work 80 hour / 7 days weeks or get terminated."
Yeah, this will go over well at Twitter.

Elon Musk sent a midnight email telling Twitter staff to commit to an 'extremely hardcore' work schedule — or get laid off with 3 months' severance

  • Elon Musk sent an ultimatum to all Twitter staff in a midnight email.
  • Staff have been given 40 hours to agree to "extremely hardcore" work, or be laid-off.
  • Musk said he required long hours at a high intensity, following reports of 80-hour weeks.
(More at above url)

Musk: Be hardcore or take the severance.
Devs: K, I'll take the severance.
Musk: Wait, what?

What a "genius" Musk is. Word on the street is that 80% of his remaining platform developers have quit. Musk effectively does not have a company that can operate now. He is reduced to begging them to come back.

I love the irony of him firing any employee who speaks contradicts him.

All speech is free, but some speech is freer than others.

I still don't understand how it is the right wing MAGA fanboys club do not see that the 1984 scenario is coming from their side, not the left.

Musk too thinks he stands for freedom when he is just another autocrat-in-waiting.

Exactly....why wasn't he speaking about freedom in his home country South Africa?
