Tweets no longer being allowed as media

I think once it was changed to "x.com" the media function doesn't accept the link. Screenshots are the old fashioned way to do it.

Check any thread in the politics section. Most of them have embedded tweets in there that work as X.

Sometimes is does, sometimes not. It might have something to do with rate limits on data that Elmo is messing with.

Well, then my ability to do so has been restricted (which I doubt, but who knows). Because I've not changed anything and sometimes tweets are just posted as a link. They don't embed.

Yeah, I dunno' how those guys are doing it, as when I try it it says that the URL is not valid for embedded media.

This works, so long as you put the link into the media menu. It used to be you could just post the link directly (without activating the media button), but even putting twitter.com there doesn't work.
