TW (Taiwan) Live Trades on SGX

lol rft ... I would beware of the trendiness of this little devil.

Regarding my colours ... its just Sierra Chart and I have colours for ma slope and position within last x bar range. All available with sc.

I am a microswing trader ... I trade pullbacks and exit on targets.
 
Kiwi: my indicator failed to predict the top (I should not be predicting in the first place), but I think I need to study this market.It seems to me that I have to develop a better grip on it. The technical indicator and the other tools I am using do not seem to work well here.

Have a look at the nikkei too then. It has less tendency to trend (normally, not in the last few weeks).

The other thing to watch is that the stock market closed at 15:30 my time ... and futures goes for another 20 minutes so you got caught in the post market playground.

Nik & STW both open today and monday

SGXNK is a good nikkei contract ... currently june i think

I just looked at Nik. Seems to be better to me as it does not trend. I like to play ranges. I also like to trade options (short ATM premium).

With whom do you trade? One thing I noticed was that I would not be able to trade options on anything other than US ( a stupid rule we have here).

[If you trade currencies: EUR/JPY is I think under distribution and mark down seems to have started]
 
I trade with my beloved IB :)

What about finding a friend with an address in another country and opening the account from that address (is it location or that stoopid US passport that makes one incompetent to trade worldwide?). If you open with IB for trading asia then ask them to make your home server Hong Kong.

Yes the stupid passport thing. They know from the id where I am from. I will try the IB /Asia/server thing. Maybe I can even open a company somewhere in Asia (or a trust) and trade as an asian entity. I hope that they will not insist on officer must not be US person.
 
Anyone else trading Taiwan tonight?

I thought the election results would have been priced in after last night, but someone decided to take a major dump when the cash market opened. Looks like it could be another volitile session.
