I always thought the major networks were middle of the road and made an effort at unbiased reporting in news broadcasts, so now I'm wondering did they change or did one end or the other of the political spectrum scale move. I think it is the latter.all the news segments lean left
No doubt current mainstream reporting is in reaction to daily lying by the President. It has to be, otherwise reporters would appear as chumps having bought into obvious lies.
I can't figure Trumps politics as either left or right. He seems to me to be a mentally deranged con artist with only one real purpose: getting attention to promote his 'Brand' while avoiding jail; it seems he'll do anything, say anything, if it serves that purpose at the moment. It's as though all the real politicians are in the House and Senate, the "political think tanks" and the PACs and other special interest groups that support them.
Trump's White House contingent of appointees and staff appear to have been selected on the basis of fealty to Trump. They are there to praise him as the deal maker, and thank him for being so 'wonderful.' (If anyone has any doubt, they only need to watch the video of Trump's infamous cabinet meeting in which each cabinet member is given the opportunity to heap praise on 'Der Fuhrer'.) Once a staffer or appointee calls too much attention to themselves, i.e., gets caught 'showboating', or saying anything that is critical of the President's whim du jour, they're gone. How nauseating this man we call our 'President' is!
