TV Show: Million Dollar Traders

Quote from Cygnus Atratus:

They had all accepted failure but needed a catalyst to leave but lacked bravado to do so. The en masse walkout simply covered their INDIVIDUAL WEAKNESS and did not change the profitable three that were left behind. I am quite sure the quitters had realised that game was up but were just hoping and praying for holy deliverance, thats why they all said "...ohh what a relief...." once they were outside since they COULD NOT HANDLE THE PRESSURE. :D

Also did Emile realise that if he had been sacked the Sloane Ranger a.k.a Cleo would have not shed a single tear for him, let alone get into some solidarity parade. The Pakistani chap Ahmed should not be allowed to open an account to trade any type of financial instrument until tutelage under an accomplished market practioner. As for the EcoTwat, let him go build schools in Congo !!!

The young black guy probably best as he is young, without committments and can be moulded into a proper trader. Don't think the mum of two would enjoy say doing overnight shift for some trades in Australia, Hong Kong or Tokyo ?

Excellent summary of the show. I couldnt believe why the walkout. Cleo was truly dog$hit at trading. Just copied everyone's else's trades, if she traded at all. The rest of the time she started crying.

I only think Emile walked out as he was trying to bone cleo. Can think that was the only reason for it. Otherwise, why not walk out when the old guy left.

In the end, the show didnt prove anything as non of them got a job.

I bet the producers had a hand in setting up the walkout, to generate a 'story' to film.

Why did Lex say before sacking Cleo that he was worried that Emile would walk out? Why would he expect it?

Something's a bit fishy.

I thought he must be a good trader if he was able to predict it... :)

Slightly off topic but for you UK people there is another trading type programme on bb2 right now. Even more interesting, They just interviewed som guy with an awesome trading setup in his home. Interesting. Its called "The city uncovered"
