TV Show: Million Dollar Traders

Quote from 1a2b3cppp:

Can someone fill a noob in on what a Bloomberg terminal is?

The Bloomberg terminal is only for advanced traders, they can establish a mental link with the machine which allows them to increase their concentration while trading. If you don't know how to use it, it's useless.

Episode 2 is showing up dribs-and-drabs on YouTube. It's called "Profit and Loss".

In this episode the Ultimate Fighting promoter is talking about building his book with companies he likes - Apple, RIM, Nike, etc - grabbing a screenshot of his Bloomie shows AAPL was in the $160s and RIM @ $130 at the time.

Gah...hard to imagine how this ends well.

Moderators can you create a poll and lets see how we all think about each of the traders on the TV show. My money is on the entepreneur lady with 2 kids and the ultimate fighting promoter, the rest of them seem to be taking a bit longer.

The Ethical EcoWarrior does have "potential" but tree hugging and live exchange based trading do not mix !!!

From the screen shots and Wolsely chatter it looks like Ep.2 is happening in mid-August. Supposed to cover four more weeks in the final episode, which puts an end to the experiment right before the Giant Meltdown.

How exactly does he expect to trade "environmentally" when he's staring at a terminal that burns the equivalent of a lump of coal every 10 minutes?
