Turtles performances

Does anyone know the average performances of the turtle traders? I saw some of them post their annual profits were around 30%.
 
I heard most of them blew out during the choppy markets..which were devoid of any major trends to capitalize on.

But, one of those turtles is still shilling books and cds and all the other paraphernalia to capitalize on the Turtle fame... his name is Russell something.. I forgot.
 
0008 read Trend Following by Michael Covel or check out his michaelcovel.com site or his turtletrader.com site. These resources will give you info about them. Most of them traded futures contracts, not equities. And 30-40% is right depending on what leverage the client account had.
