Turns out Zimmerman was an advocate for black people.

Quote from RCG Trader:

Justice will be served, it looks like Zimmerman may have acted on self defense, so he will not go to prison. As far as looters go, the cities should let it be known that attempts at mob action will be contained by whatever means necessary.

Good post, RCG. The problem is not that Justice will be served, it is that all the so-called "leaders" of the black community have driven Zimmerman into hiding without any knowledge of what transpired. That is the problem here. Aided by the media, another crime was in fact committed, and that was the crime of the mob against an innocent citizen.

That crime will not be punished, and Justice was NOT served.

Quote from CaptainObvious:

He will walk, but he's not innocent. He will walk because of a stupid media and a moron for a prosecuter. He never should have followed Trayvon after being told not to. There's enough right there to charge him with aggravated assualt, considering the outcome of his continuing to follow Trayvon. Maybe he get's convicted, maybe he doesn't, but at least the prosecution would have a case.
This is what happens when the media sticks their nose where it doesn't belong. Any violence that comes of this is right in their lap.
Well said, Cap'n. You're on a roll, I also liked your thoughts on heroism.

Not to worry, the media will be all too happy to sensationalize the violence.

Quote from CaptainObvious:

I tend to agree that the criminal justice system was far too slow upfront. However, what the media did was much more than push that along. They tried and convicted Zimmerman in a matter of a few days, all based on pure wild eyed specualtion. They poisoned the well to such a degree that attaining "justice" is near impossible. They pushed an obvioulsy biased prosecuter into making an idiotic decision to charge Murder 2, which any first year law student can tear to shreads. So now what we will have is a circus trial which won't go as the street folk would have it. Zimmerman will walk, and the thugs will be out burning down the house shortly there after. That ain't justice!

The prosecutor who charged Zimmerman with murder is the one who belongs in jail. Her complete bias was sickening to see and I can't wait to see her career ended.

selective prosecution or prosecutorial misconduct?

Not sure what is available under Florida law. In California there is something called wrongful prosecution.

True. The media fucked up hard. And let's not forget the black pansies public bounty on his head.. were there any arrests FOR the bounty yet? And let's not forget Spike Lee's twittering of the address (obviously inciting violence) has he been arrested/charged/lawsuit filed yet? And let's not forget our AG (lol) holding press conferences with the race bait crew, and appointing 'special prosecution'. He is the single most irresponsible and guilty person of everyone involved in this case... a completely worthless piece of shit.
