Reminds me of the old phrase: No matter how amazingly hot a woman is, somewhere there is a guy who is tired of f---ing her.
Turns out dude kept quiet as his career was destroyed. It wasn't until she violated the terms of her settlement agreement to stop talking shit recently, that he leaked the recording.
If you restrain her in self defence that will be counted as you assaulting her if she says so.
And if she hurts her hand while hitting your hand/arm raised in self defence, she can claim assault for that as well.
In domestic issues the police have to nearly always believe the woman.
The only solution is to stay away from these types in the first place, as they say: never stick your dick in crazy.
