Turning 2.5k into 100k

Do you actually save money overall though by using broker so paying tiny fees for comission, but then having to pay tax??


Because i pay a 12ticks spread for oil futures, so when i do £2 tick no im paying £24 per each trade! :eek:
Compared to brokers who seem to do it for more like £3 flat fee per trade for oil.

So if i average now just 6-8trades per day, i spend 24x8= £192 (96ticks) on commission fees per day.

I aim to just earn a min of £50 per day, (average at just over £360 (rather 189ticks) per day though for most the weeks i traded for last few months.


So im basically paying £960 (480ticks) per week in comission fees!!

And thats just at £2 tick..., when i scale up to £5 - £6 itl be hitting the £10,000s per week!! :eek: :eek:
 
Actually if you really look at it ive actually probably already done it and gone from £2,000 to £100,000k!! LOL :D


Im not even joking..., since for the last few months i was trading slightly more at £1 tick, but i was having 2 - 3 trades all open at the same time.
And back then i was doing 50 - 60trades per day though!! :eek:

So if i was doing just 50 trades per day at £12 per trade, i have been paying £600 per day, each day for months and months now!! LOL
600x5= £3,000 per week paid in commission!

So £3,000 x 4 (the number of months since i left college and made the change from partime trading- to-being able to stay home and spend all day each day fulltime trading for career),
= ive already paid (technically earnt £12,000 extra!!)

So if i add that £12,000 + £4,831 (1st 3months going from £759 to £5,590) + £1,819 (all made in 1week this month cos was getting furniture deliveries for 1st 2weeks, and 3rd traded 3days but broke even. And starting from under £2,400 capital again).



= Ive already actually technically, morally, hypothetically and physically generated a profit of £18,650 in 4months!!!! :D :D :p :p

(All from a starting account of just £759!!!) :D :) :D





So you really gta get moving Brettdog to come beat that, as the competition just rose to new levels!! hehe :D

This should be a forum to exchange trading ideas and experiences in a positive way. If you don't agree or don't like this or another thread... stay away with your trash thinking.

Kind of annoying to see so much pessimism on a trading forum of all places. I'm just wondering how you cover the margin with the 2500? My broker requires substantially more than that for the YM even to trade one contract.

Depends on the broker. Though lower requirement is not really an opertunity, more a trap. With a proper risk evaluation I would say an account should have at least 5000$ per YM contract traded. When I have an account this small I obviously have the ability to meet potential negative balance that may occur in case of order errors, extreme events etc.. If you yet haven't experienced orders or positions existing in your account without beeing shown in your platform, then at least understand this will happen to you sometime in the future. If suspicous make screen captures, it's the best you can do for "evidence".

Some of us more experienced traders actually did try to help you mate..

I started with same amount as you, and made this much in 4months, but your too stubborn and bigheaded to listen to the people who give you advice taht would actually work.

So im now just gna sit and watch and laugh as you blow your account up!! :D :D
