Investigative reporter Jean Guerrero posted an interesting video clip to Twitter in the lead up to President Trump’s rally on Tuesday. The video includes an announcement from the Trump campaign that explains how the event is a “private” function and that there’s a designated protest space outside of the arena.

“[While] we all have the rights to free speech, this is a private event paid for and hosted by Donald J. Trump For President, Inc., and you came to hear the president,” the announcer says, as her voice echoes through the enormous complex.

“To accommodate the right to free speech and peaceful assembly, while ensuring an orderly rally, we have provided a secure area outside the venue for all protesters and we ask anyone wishing to demonstrate to please exit to that secure area.”

Sorry but I don't see it. He has enormous authority as president to act without congress. If activist judges object, he can ignore them. The Supreme Court ruled that he has virtually unlimited authority to bar entire classes of immigrants. He could ban all immigration from Latin America. He could put the military on the border performing a classic military function, border defense. Defending the country against invasion is not a violation of posse comitatus.

He could start arresting and charging sanctuary city mayors, police chiefs and judges. He could prosecute dirtbag lawyers and NGOs that are assisting sham asylum claims.

He could ramp up deportations. He could have ended DACA. He could end birthright citizenship. He could tax or ban remittances. He could mandate use of e-verify.

It's a disgrace that he has done essentially nothing to build a wall or other physical barrier. He could have used the military to do it.

Instead, he lets Jared negotiate amnesties with congress and listens to Ivanka who is weeping for the children.

But the girl does make a credible case, and she is nice to look at and listen to.

And it is absolutely correct that the polls that the DNC is treating as benchmarks are not really any better than some of the others.

The dnc needs to go back to their Ouija board and find a basis for bringing her back for at least another round. Maybe she will bring at least another candidate down before she goes- as she did to Skankala.

“Crucial decisions on debate qualifications that impact the right of the American people to have the opportunity to participate fully in the Democratic process should not be made in secret by party bosses.”

The DNC raised the threshold to qualify for the upcoming September and October debates, requiring candidates to poll above 2 percent in four DNC-approved polls and raise money from at least 130,000 unique donors.

Pardon my poor English, but it don't seem right that all the other candidates are trying to outdo each other by eating deep-fried pork chops at the Iowa Fair and competing with each other on the waterslides, while Tulsi is over participating in joint military exercises in Indonesia for two weeks. Then the DNC gives her crap news based on crap criteria while she is over there.

The DNC should be attacked in a way that draws blood on this and gets them to cave. Ironically, it is probably the republicans who will git er done for her on this.
