PTJ isn't completely forthright about the economic inequality thing. If you're a public school teacher, a union pipefitter, a hospital RN, a FedEx package loader - you're going to have some sort of 401K plan. Many of these companies doing share buybacks have fantastic plans to allow employees to buy shares at a discount through payroll deduction. And surely nearly all of those 401K's and employee equity ownership plans have done nicely to date during the Trump tenure.
 
Well, that's the Golden Rule...."He who has the gold makes the rules."

1. Benefit the executives and insiders.

2. Next, benefit shareholders.

3. Finally, if there is any $$ left over, benefit the workers.
You are missing something. Many, or most, employees also benefit from buy-backs through their 401(k)s.
