Way do you suppose you know about these events, the details, and the virtually zero level of real damage done compared to the trillions of dollars in transactions! You've proved my point. It is simply not possible to "hack" these systems without it being found out that they have been hacked. The only thing we'd have to fear in an election carried out over the internet with encrypted transmissions, voter verification, and rectification of errors is an undetected hacking. And that's impossible as you would always know whether your vote was registered as you intended. The real dangers lie elsewhere.
