TT vs. Ninja

I've used Ninja Trader with Velocity's TT feed in the past and had many problems, ie.. ghost orders, open positions that did not show on my platform and velocity told me it's still my responsibility to call them every day to check if orders are closed or opened, they call them ghost orders, Ninja trader told me this will never happen with a Zenfire feed, I've been using NT w/ Zenfire @ Amp for several months now with no feed issues.
Ghost orders are not acceptable with any product used with any feed; one should never have to call their broker to determine open positions.
I suspect I know why there was a problem with NT & Velocityâs TT Feed and not NT & Zenfire.
From a coding perspective, it is a straight forward problem to solve â nothing new â and if the app is coded correctly, the problem should not exist regardless of the feed.

Ghost orders do NOT exist...when you establish your Ninja/TT connection you must OK a warning message explaining if you hold overnight positions they may not correctly display. It also says if you find yourself in that situation it's your responsibilty to contact your broker for your position.
Our (traders) biggest problem is that we can't trust anyone.
Whether it's frozen or ghost orders, I think we can all agree that what we see on the tape is fraud if it's either one of them.
Any idiot can read into SEC regulations and see that frozen and ghost orders are unlawful.
So why then do these software companies promote frozen and ghost orders?
My guess is that it's because they will exploit it unless or until they get stopped by the US Attorney's office.
Every corrupt gorilla (Hank Paulson's alumni at GS and otherwise) will exploit the daylights out of it until they get pardoned.
Anyone disagree?

Again, ZENFIRE does not do this!
Ive traded Ninja with the TT feed through Advantage Futures and had the same problem. Ninja trade history not matching up with actual trade history etc.....
Its not unmanageable but as it was said, we shouldnt have to 2nd guess our platform like that. I have heard good things about the ZENFIRE feed. Look forward to trying it out!

First part is correct; second part is wrong:
TT 7.5.x is not a Java application or written in java.
In fact during the installation you will find a new program installed on your Windows Control Panel: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable and there are no java applets open while it's running. It only relies on Net Framework 2.0 SP1.
