$TSLA

Some existing car company will probably buy this POS company at about $2.00 per share, or more likely out of bankruptcy. They do not have adequate capitalization to survive.

I think Chinese players would be interested, but in this political climate it's a non-starter.

What Western or Japanese car company would want to buy Tesla? They own some buildings, a slightly tarnished brand, a few car models - and massive liabilities for warranties (think low M3 build quality), leases, lifetime free supercharging, lawsuits, God knows what else. Culture and structure of the business would be very difficult to integrate with any established automaker. IMO they are headed for liquidation.

Tesla Deliveries

Tesla's bid to emerge from "delivery logistics hell," as CEO Elon Musk put it a week ago, this quarter includes a "door-to-door" service called Tesla Direct. At least, in some areas, including the Los Angeles metro area. "This is an exciting opportunity to get your hands on your car sooner and without having to go pick it up," local delivery manager Jeremy Pomp emailed customers. "A Tesla Customer Experience Professional will drive your car to your home or office." Electrek

Seems like TSLA is setting up to blame "delivery logistics" for failure to build/sell as many cars as expected in Q3 - when demand constraint is the more likely reality.

Ding, ding, ding. Who wants to take on that liability? Better off scrapping it for parts to the highest bidder, like the Chinese.

Battery goes one way, licensing/production rights another, and whoever is dumb enough gets the solar panel business.

Looks like the demi God has finally blown up.
A pity he didn't take my advice and go hybrid for his cars. Battery technology just isn't good enough yet and it may never be, short of putting in a mini nuclear reactor.
BMW's hybrid is apparently an excellent all round car and very fast too, At 130 miles per gallon extra economical.
