Elon's Joint Venture

Tesla CEO Elon Musk partook of a joint and drank whiskey on a livestreamed broadcast of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast Thursday night. He also said he has a design for an electric plane, though he conceded that his work on electric cars, solar energy and energy storage are "much more important" right now. "The momentum to sustainable energy is too slow," he said, according to The Verge. Meanwhile, a prominent short-seller is suing Musk and Tesla over that abortive going-private-oops-maybe-not episode. The sell off was maybe 10% JRE and 90% CFO leaving, they are just clueless on CNBC.

"Remember that Morton had a well-publicized $10 million equity grant when he was hired, which he's just walked away from after just 30 days. The company accounts are clearly as toxic as bears have been saying for a really long time now."

Morton probably thought after seeing the books:"It is better to be free and poor, then having millions and be in an orange suit."

Edit: By the way this was the 2nd Chief Accounting Officer to resign this year.

suggests that the $252.54 price level is significant (conversion ratio of 3.9597)

I need to do some more research into this.

Also interesting to note that the closing price on April 2 was $252.48
(52 week low on intraday basis was $244.59)

Today's intraday low was $252.25

Update from Mercedes:
  • From this year on they will introduce 1 new model every year.
  • Since 2009 performance of batteries produced by Mercedes improve between 10-14% every year.
  • They are working on a 250Kw loader to fully load in 30 minutes.
The pressure on Tesla will only increase, and we know how that affects the mental state of Musk.

250kw loader.....but how are they getting the electricity to these loaders? Who's gonna pony up the infrastructure for the copper conductors needed to carry that capacity from the grid?

Only way I see this working is having a massive battery that trickle charges and then said massive battery dumping charges to the consumers' cars.

If they would know the answer the 250Kw loader would already be operational.
Maybe own local producing capacities? Send all this over the net is impossible.
Tesla has already 150Kw loaders.
And Toshiba will release a new battery that loads in 6 minutes enough to drive 320 km.
