Can't he afford better 3somes than this?

That call was based on both TA and FA:

1. TA: Once the bottom Williams % was hit on the daily chart, it usually bounces up to the SMA line what was around 330. If you check the daily chart the SMA was touched 3 days ago at 327.

2. FA: It is a cult stock so we don't need to expect logical behavior, or should I say the expectation is cultist logic. 300 or just below that has been a floor, and I figured it would hold. People and maybe institutions too rush in to buy at that level...

I suspect that we are at the beginning of a phase marked by both successful and failed attempts of managed decline (institutions getting out) and sudden gap downs and dives due to a constellation of devastating news events in the pipeline.

Not only is the Tesla fairy tale rapidly disintegrating due to the highly publicized childish behavior and incompetence of the CEO, lack of proper oversight by the board of directors, poor quality issues of brand new cars, long wait time for after-sale support and service, collapsing Model 3, S, and X market / sales, and the onslaught of better EVs from more respected car makers, the waves of scandalous revelations and financially ruinous lawsuits are yet to arrive in full force.

The way Musk and the Tesla board have handled the crisis following the fraudulent go-private tweet leaves me little doubt that Tesla will not survive without timely, wholesale replacement of the management team (Elon Musk in particular) and the Tesla board.

I believe TSLA will revisit $250 before end of September.

The Journal reported on Friday that Musk looks for tweets with the hashtag $TSLA — often used by Tesla short-sellers — and has on many occasions contacted top executives at companies to inquire about employees who may be publishing negative tweets about his electric-car company.

Musk told The Journal that in July he emailed Volkswagen CEO Herbert Diess and asked if one of his employees was using Twitter to criticize Tesla under a false name. A Tesla representative told Business Insider that Volkswagen determined the employee's brother was behind the tweets.
