There will be big news coming soon for our great American Autoworkers. After many decades of losing your jobs to other countries, you have waited long enough!

Funny thing is that it is the U.S. Automakers that chose themselves to move production out of U.S. while foreign automakers have moved production into the U.S. Blame is never put on the actual companies...

Tesla workers are NOT UAW and Elon is fighting their unionizing effort.
Yeah I know that.... just didn't feel like starting an automotive thread based on a Trump Tweet. This looked as good a place as any to pose the question.

Ahhh.
Tariffs on imported vehicles.

I thought of that, but said "no way he'll do that".
I'm sure Korea, Japan, and Germany will be ecstatic.
Trudeau better be nice.
And Mexico's gonna pay for that wall.

Other countries might do the same as a reaction. This would be a disaster for Tesla. They will become even more expensive. BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, AUDI... produce in the US and are not hit, Tesla sales will be, outside of the US.

No, that is a new option that was invented by Tesla. :D

Just like the Autopilot that isn't an Autopilot at all. If a truck stops for a red light, the Autopilot Tesla just crashes behind in the truck.

Tesla added themselves a whole list with things that the Autopilot cannot manage. Just to protect themselves against potential lawsuits. The driver should always be able to intervene. Why do you need then an Autopilot?

It's like telling that a car has brakes, but that they will not always work.

Consumer organisations in the US start to see what I told: Autopilot is not safe.

LIE!

It is asking them to investigate marketing practices as misleading.

Please show me one bit of tesla advertising or marketing...

Deceptive Tesla “Autopilot”

That is clear, not? It is not an autopilot at all. Driver has an extensive list of things that he should do as the autopilot is not an autopilot. Autopilot can even not stop for a car that is standing still on traffic lights.
