federal safety agency is investigating a severe crash and fire involving a Telsa electric car that killed two teenagers in Florida earlier this week. The National Transportation Safety Board said a four-person team will focus on the emergency response to the post-crash fire in the battery of a Tesla Model S in Fort Lauderdale. That's the #1 problem for owners of electric cars with a large battery pack -- what would normally be an easily survivable car crash would not be survivable once the battery pack is on fire. You have a few seconds to break open the door or the window. After that, your eyes, arms and legs could be partially cooked and become unusable. You get burned to death.
