i think we have a big political & economical problem with the biggest oil producers & exporters in the world can anyone guess..would not want to go bankrupt as a county so they would do anything necessary to stop elon's ambitions towards everything running on electricity so as a result you can already see tesla stock isn't doing too well regardless of people's thinking the future is all about renewable energy and tesla!

Tesla will announce the location of its China manufacturing plant by the third quarter, CEO Elon Musk said this week, after the Chinese government's gave the green light last month for foreign new-energy vehicle makers to fully own auto factories by year-end. What Tesla says and does are 3 different things. They could hardly break the 2000/ week number. But that is really not the problem.
The bigger problem is the demand for a 50K mass produced EV. There is no such a thing as a 35K Model 3, and if you have lots of money you could go for the better and more costly models.
Assuming Tesla could make 5K/week (I think they will top out at 3K) they would exhaust the demand in a year and then they would have a production line making cars for non-existing customers.
Because of this reason they will never ramp up the production too high, and will only make enough what the market can bear, they can sell. Possibly 100-150K annually.
Tesla won't have the money to building the plant on its own. So that means a new financing package will have to be negotiated and finalized by Q3. What is going to happen to TSLA share price when another round of financing is announced in a few weeks?
