Great post, but I think that in the 21 century there is no more place for an individual genius. The technology is too complicated and only one person can't really invent something significant, team-working nowadays is a distinctive trait of a success in any industry. That is why people who aren't geniuses but great CEOs lead this planet today, and the trend is only going to continue. IMOI like Musk, I think he's a great entrepreneur that's living out his technological fantasies and ultimately wants to do good in the world, however, I think the title of genius should be used sparingly and reserved for great thinkers about life and the universe (e.g. Einstein, Newton, Darwin etc) or people that made huge discoveries/innovations when there was very little base prior to work with. Musk is expanding on existing technologies and not really a discoverer/inventor IMO but I respect him for taking on industries with significant barriers to entry and challenging the status quo.
Reiterate.... fwiwDo not short this stock.
Oh, come on, Tesla is working on a cheap EV,
Used Tesla is going to cost $10-15k. What did you want? The first computers didn't cost pennies either.Lies, lies and damned lies. Average isn't cheap. A 35K car is the average cost of a US car nowadays and even that 35K will be the very low end of the new Tesla. (no extras)
So where is Elon's cheap EV?
Used Tesla is going to cost $10-15k.
