This just never seems to end.
They just continue to keep the shorts paranoid.

I like Musk, I think he's a great entrepreneur that's living out his technological fantasies and ultimately wants to do good in the world, however, I think the title of genius should be used sparingly and reserved for great thinkers about life and the universe (e.g. Einstein, Newton, Darwin etc) or people that made huge discoveries/innovations when there was very little base prior to work with. Musk is expanding on existing technologies and not really a discoverer/inventor IMO but I respect him for taking on industries with significant barriers to entry and challenging the status quo.

Great post, but I think that in the 21 century there is no more place for an individual genius. The technology is too complicated and only one person can't really invent something significant, team-working nowadays is a distinctive trait of a success in any industry. That is why people who aren't geniuses but great CEOs lead this planet today, and the trend is only going to continue. IMO

Lies, lies and damned lies. Average isn't cheap. A 35K car is the average cost of a US car nowadays and even that 35K will be the very low end of the new Tesla. (no extras)

So where is Elon's cheap EV?

Used Tesla is going to cost $10-15k. What did you want? The first computers didn't cost pennies either.
 
It's getting hot before the earnings. It's the first time when it's hard for me to suggest what we should expect this quarter.
