TSLA just announced a 5-1 stock split

Shouldn't the price action become sluggish when they add shares? The weight from the shares outstanding makes it less likely to jump around.

I'm glad apple and tesla are splitting shares, I find the amazons and googles pretentious for not doing so. Then portfolios have to do the fractional share thing, stupid.

Too funny to see how a stock split justifies a 6% jump in the stock price.

6% is nothing, after the split, TSLA will quickly rally 500% and be back to todays share price within a few weeks :D

Everyone knows TSLA is destined for a $1 Trillion+ market cap

Yep $1 trillion by Xmas. By then apple should be a 3 trillion dollar company after it splits too.

I guess Buffet is a snooty little bitch then, no? Have you seen BRK.A lately? heh

I purposely left him out of my rant because he's an old school 'doesn't want his stock
actively traded' and he has certainly accomplished that.

he's the quintessential buy and hold guy

This guy had the easiest job on the floor..lol
