Funny how you emphasize a word and discount all the others.
Have you done any trading? I don't remember seeing you sell any shares. It's now my only position. I've said before, I'm both an investor and trader (40/60). My investment time frame is 5 years and trading is weeks. I don't day trade TSLA.
That's pretty well it. I go into a trade expecting it to move in my favor and will exit quickly if it doesn't. I usually start with a small position and pyramid. I take a lot of small losses. Preservation of capital is my number one priority.I understand you're waiting for a clear reverse to the uptrend before going in. I also understand that you don't set expectations and trade on movements. Right?
I'm the opposite! I'd rather see the market go up without me holding any stocks than have it go down with me holding stocks. In my short years trading TSLA, I vividly recall 2 instances holding back from entering, watching sudden surges of multiple % right before my eyes. Now I prefer to hold on to a small loss than to miss out on a big surge.
Ima fkg genius who called TSLA short at $800

I don't disagree with your methodology, even if we process fear and greed differently. But if TSLA bounces back tomorrow from 150, you're going to wait until a 200 confirmation to enter? That's 33% (I prefer to count in value .. $50!)... Me no like.Have you done any trading? I don't remember seeing you sell any shares.

Now for as many times as you missed moves because you didn't buy, how many times could you have sold with a profit or even at breakeven and didn't..
The problem with small losses is they might turn into big losses. Iknow, Iknow the market always goes up. But stocks don't. I've seen enough that hit bottom and stay there to know that it is possible.
Hope you win your bet. I might even jump on the bandwagon if it gets thru 200.
Musk isn't an engineer and I can write better code and my only experience is in NewtonScript. The dude simply bought all the top engineers in the space (space).
