I saw a quote from Henry Ford today, it made me think of TSLA.

Times are a changin'. Ford is very old school. Nowadays you do build a business on what you are going to do, then you cash out. See WeWork, Uber, SpaceX, etc...

Christ, even if you find Tesla to be smokes and mirrors, you gotta be smart enough to realize Musk is smart enough to keep that price up. I really can't fault his skills at raising capital and playing the PR game.

I'm so glad I don't trade stocks or short, lol. I have so much hatred for AAPL and think it should crash and burn (If someone offered to pay me thousands of $ to exclusively use an iPhone, I'd refuse) and given its rise, I'd have lost a lot of $ buying puts every month.

At the same time, I admire Tesla a lot, innovation and all (I have a pre-order on the Cybertruck, hope I can afford it when it does go come out or I'll have to cancel). I think it's an easy double from here and is on a breakout now, but given my prognostication skills on AAPL, it's probably the top for TSLA. Hope your buddy recovers from his losses.

I always say, don't get mad, get even. I don't like Tesla, but I am not stupid enough to short it when it is going obviously up. The problem about cult stocks is that people are dug into their opinion and they just can't change their position, even when it is obviously the right thing to do.

I had to stop reading SA, because they are heavily anti-Tesla (fine by me) but they have been also wrong in the last 6 months. So it is fine to be critical a company, but it is stupid to be so one sided that one loses money based on his beliefs. It is like peeing against the wind.

So don't get mad, get even. What is more satisfying/getting even than taking your opponent's side and making money???
