Trying to figure out a half share size regime

Like go to half size when- tired, heading towards going on tilt, bad day, deep into the red or black...

When do you guys decide to go to half size lots?

If the cat sleeps on the left side use 0.5 position, otherwise 1.
If cat poops , close the position.

Even better if the cat would grab the mouse and do the job themselves.

I have been sizing positions by distributing similar risk between instruments, considering historic volatility as factor for lot sizes.

Perhaps half lots are useful for distributing capital more equally or utilizing all the money on high priced stocks.
