Trumps Tax Return

I definitely wouldnt want to bet agaisnt trump at this point in time, id put him at 50/50 to win the presidency.

ive worked in highpressure sales before, selling time shares, usually it was the guy who everyone thought was the biggest dumb ass, the guy who was most sure of himself who sold the most time shares. Thinking people didnt like him, but the majority of people arent very bright.

You are overanalyzing things, thinking that most people have a brain and think like you, the fact is that most people are sheep, ready to get sheared by the sheppard with the most confidence.

Look at all of our previous elections in the last few decades, and try telling me it wasnt the best salesman who won the job, literally in every single case, it was the guy who was most sure of his actions who won the presidency, most deep thinkers tend not to deal in absolutes, when vying for the presidency failing to deal in absolutes is a cardinal sin.

You must be 100% confident that your path is the best and there is no other options, thats something trump is good at protruding.
Your analysis makes good sense to me. I hope for all our sakes it is not quite right, but I fear that it could be. Even if your analysis is spot on, I seriously doubt there are enough of these innocent but very naive people who actually register and vote to elect someone like Trump, who l have referred to as a vacuum cleaner salesman. I probably should stop doing that because there are, honest, hard working people that legitimately sell vacuum cleaners. Surely national exposure of Trump's huckster and hustler activities will be enough to send him home, and I don't mean the White House. He is a great embarrassment. Educated people around the world are scratching their heads about now and thinking, if not actually saying, wtf.

Keep in mind that appealing to fear and the lowest common denominator has traditionally been a very effective way for politicians to get elected. Trump does this very effectively.

While other politicians use big words in the debate - Trump is effectively running a "Captain Underpants campaign". Despite his hustler activities, I doubt very much that Trump will be sent home when he is "exposed" - he will simply talk over the exposure and insult those exposing him much to the delight of many followers.

Keep in mind that Trump is leading among the uneducated, educated, male, female, and many other segments of the voting population. Speaking at a third grade level has not slowed him, nor has being a huckster.

It is unfortunate that the U.S. presidential election has sunk to this base level.

Well, more specifically, the Republican side of it. I doubt he would have gotten anywhere near this kind of traction on the Democratic side.

Keep in mind that the surveys show that trump has support from 5% of cross-over Democrats in some states.

This is the type of demagogic candidate that is likely to sweep nearly all 50 states in a general election by appealing to the base fears of voters.

I'm not saying he isn't a force (farce?) to be reckoned with, but I think if and when the time comes, Hillary will beat him down with a stick.

This started in the last election with democrats, this cycle is the end progression of where we end up when elections get turned into a total joke based on demographics.

Romney was probably the most qualified candidate for president of all time, there arent more than a half a dozen business men in america who did better than him under Bain when judging by percent gains. There has never been a presidential candidate who had that much success in the private sector. He understood the private sector more than any of the 500 congressman and 100 senators, So what did democrats do?

They made it about nonsense, false accusations of racism for everyone, Melissa Harris Perry and her despicable crew laughed at the romneys for adopting a black kid from africka, saying " one of these kids just doesnt belong" Dingy Harry made up shit about his tax returns, dems made fun of the fact that he was rigid, because he wasnt a smooth talker. The race card was so played out under obama that the term "Racist" no longer holds any meaning, and when Trump is called a racist, for saying legitimately racist things. people just sluff it off, cause they have heard it a million times.

What was the signal for the next election after what happened in 2012? We didnt mysteriously arrive at the place where nuts like Trump and Sanders are leading the polls, we got here by capitulation, The political process is at the all time lows at the same time peoples disgust with these idiots is at all time highs.

Unfortunately I must disagree with you. I am not a fan of Trump or Clinton, however I must state that I believe that it is likely that Trump will completely defeat Hillary in a general election in probably what would be one of the biggest landslides in recent presidential election history. I expect that Bernie has a better chance against Trump than Hillary.

However only time will tell... maybe Rubio will get his act together but he is running out of time.

I think you're romanticizing with a rather soft lens what he perpetrated in private equity. He raped and pillaged otherwise profitable companies that then ceased to exist after a long history, and pretty much the only jobs he created were of the Staples variety. But no need to raise the dead. This has been covered at length and in depth in 2012.

And I believe that one of us is fooling himself, but we won't know for certain which one of us that is until later in the year. Meanwhile, TV is going to get very interesting.

I've read all your recent posts but I'm not clear on your position regarding Trump. Straight up, what do you think of this guy?

Will you vote for him?
