Trump's propaganda arm pulls all the stops to expose Jeff Bezos

I mean he could dump a billion to unleash an army of private investigators into the whole enquirer staff and all business by that rag.

Yeh sure, brilliant idea if you are going through a divorce which is killer if you are trying to run a business at the same time, losing half the cash value of your empire, and desperately hoping to get your name out of the headlines and get back to business.

Yep, ramp up the hand to hand combat with the Enquirer and Trump. Brilliant.

I do find this entire situation amusing. The WP paper owned by Bezos spent countless articles providing coverage of the Stormy situation while pushing endless editorials proclaiming Trump an adulterer. Bezos also took personal shots at Trump over his immorality in the Stormy situation.

Now if comes out that Bezos has been not only banging a chick while married but taking the home wrecker on multiple expensive excursions. Bezos was forced to come out with a public statement to beat the Inquirer which was about to publish the articles on his worldwide romps.

I guess the lesson to Bezos is "don't throw rocks when you live in a glass house."

And it is a good lesson!~ Perhaps this entire thing is a matter of hypocrisy levels. But i prefer to think of it as levels of propriety. We, the public, shouldn't care about Trump's personal affairs until they involve illegalities.* We, the public, should not care abut Jeff Bezos's personal affairs until they involve illegalities.

Mine is a French view, so I am out of step with American viewpoints on the matter of extramarital affairs.

I’m just catching up on this story so here are the big points I see:

1. National enquirer’s general counsel was involved so no one gets to claim plausible deniability

2. Bezos or his mistress most likely had their phones hacked (big crime)

3. Bezos claims his investigative services suspects government involvement

Actually what I find funny is the man who is leader of the U.S. has the time to sit around tweeting about Bezos repeatedly and other people. I think it is because as we learned, his schedule is barely filled all day.

I think it should read "A man who cannot have an affair without getting caught is not fit to be president"
