Will the tents be on American soil? If so, they will somehow "weasel" their way into protected "rights" and "social support" payments. They should not be allowed to step one foot onto American ground. Rather, stonewalled short of the border where they can rot or decide to give up and return home. (Hey... if Soros and the UN paid the invasion to march upon our border, perhaps Soros & friends will buy them a bus ticket back to where they came from.)

Personally, I'd rather Trump put up a "wall of lead".... so we don't have to deal with this again.

It sounds like he is getting ready to surrender. If he lets them enter the US, we lose, one way or another. They'll put them in a tent city, then the media will call them concentration camps and celebrities will go there to stage demonstrations,e tc. Ivanka's tears may again come into play. End result, typical Trump, a lot of big talk, no lasting results and a climbdown in the end.

Plus, they already get healthcare, welfare, public schooling with breakfast and lunch paid for.

Exactly, just as I stated in another thread, it's a horrible idea. Either stop them from entering or don't waste the time and money on this tent city thing which will turn into a circus for the left to rally around. The left is going to be their usual outraged selves regardless, so stop them cold before entry using whatever means necessary. Get serious about border security or just let'em in and deal with it in the limp wristed way we've been doing it.
 
The media is already pre-outraged about the tents.

Meanwhile, many/most of these migrants are headed to California where many people are already living in tents. Ditto for Portland and Seattle. The hundreds of millions that's going toward fending off the invaders could help some Americans too.

We can’t even get republicans to fund healthcare for poor children, what makes you think they would fund a program for homeless people in California and two other sanctuary cities?

One way to end this illegal immigration crisis is to amend the law (if he get's the majority after midterms) prohibiting all the states from providing food, shelter and healthcare for the illegal immigrants. With that, nobody will come in for 'free stuffs'.
