Somebody in intel with a political ax to grind had access to a transcript of Flynn's call and leaked it to press...which then circled the prey looking to drive a wedge. It seems the press is not revealing the transcript. If they did, it would prove someone in intel was spying on the transition team, looking for any soft attitudes toward the target: Russia.
If they did show the transcript, we would see Flynn worked to de-escalate Obama's inflammatory escalation of the Russian election hacking narrative. As Obama sent NATO tanks to Russia's borders, perhaps Flynn's general assurances have helped de-escalate an all-out conflict.
To warmongers, this is sacrilege.
I just don't see a reason to give in to this kind of press pressure, when every day, the press is trying to incite some idiot out in the public to actually assassinate the President of the U.S.
It appears Flynn has taken a political shot for the President.
Cernovich sees it as weakness to allow Flynn to fall on this kind of a battlefield.
