We had a President in 2020 that openly / publicly mocked the use of face mask wearing including when he had indoor rallies...
  • The dumbass didn't even want people in the White House to be wearing a face mask..we all know what happen later...they got infected and even today...Trump will sometimes need to catch his breath when speaking...example of a long hauler symptom.
Just as idiotic, many of the American population also (still does) mock the use of wearing a face mask even when hundreds of thousands of people were being killed by Covid while other countries that do not mock the use of face mask wearing...

Performed much better than the United States and some of them had no need to shut down their economy. Those countries wear face mask as if its nothing to them...its not political to them...its treated like another piece of clothing...

Similar to putting on a had, gloves or winter coat when its snowing outside or putting on a condom when fucking someone as a one night stand.

I have a neighbor that's a Covidiot...he debated all summer long about not wearing a face mask. Yet, as soon as we had our first winter storm and its been cold ever since...he puts on his winter hat, winter coat, scarf around his face and wears his winter gloves whenever he goes outside.

Yet, a wearing a face mask is problematic to him. :rolleyes:

Exactly, the people who are against lock downs tend to be against basic mitigation efforts as well. So no matter what with a sizable chunk of the population walking around thinking they know more than doctors and scientists we were going to have a disaster either way.

We were in a national emergency and the leadership on the right would not do the right thing because they cannot be seen as agreeing with democrats on anything.

Look at Rand Paul for example, guy refuses to wear a mask, gets Covid and goes for a workout and a swim in the congressional gym.

We never had a chance.

I’m surprised no one brought it up, but I did blame Trump for 300,000 Covid deaths, but I gave him a mulligan for them. Obviously, I now have a different opinion because Covid, although serious, turned out to be not as serious as earlier feared and Covid’s impact on our economy has been deeper that I realized at the time, justifying an earlier opening up. Even now, as we pass the anniversary of the lockdown, the parade of stimulus bills continues and Covid economic effects are still seen.
