I think I may need to stop drinking coffee. I've been having it every day now for a short while; usually two half-cups, occasionally three, and always in the early morning. I have not been sleeping well at all now with some regularity. It didn't start right away after I began drinking coffee daily, but it slowly crept up on me.
Since I do occasionally have fitful sleep, I attributed it at least in part to my workout regimen. And while that may have been a factor, in the last 2 weeks I only worked out once a week (Mondays), even though I was scheduled to work out twice this week. So, I reduced my frequency, but the insomnia persists. Since nothing else is otherwise going on, I think the coffee is a contributing factor. Before the coronavirus, I used to have a cup on weekends at my favorite cafe, and didn't seem the worse for wear. But this daily business has to stop:
