One side says how about drinking Lysol
The other side says nothing but complains nothing is being done
People follow the guy offering Lysol because he is the only one talking...

Democrats and Biden have been relatively quiet (not talking about local Governors) and just sitting back and criticizing every dumb thing Trumps says (which keeps them busy). I go back and forth between CNN and FOX (which is like playing batshit crazy tennis) and CNN will spend an hour criticizing what Trump said that day and FOX spends the hour talking about opening up the country.
If you are a sheep, which person or channel are you going to tune in to...
Trump and FOX own the narrative so much that Trump can throw out about the idea of drinking lysol and move on but Democrats and CNN will spend all of today non-stop talking about it (i think it speaks for itself).
That is why the quote I put up seems so relevant.
And which hour of the two do you think is the better one spent?
What would you have CNN do instead? Ignore the sheer stupidity of the president and his dangerous riffing? As for things speaking for themselves, look how many people here are supporting everything Trump says, let alone out there in the real world. Lysol had to put out a statement discouraging consumers from ingesting their product in response to the president's insanity! Look what Georgia is doing today. Trump was all for it until he wasn't. How can any responsible media NOT be reporting on this? This is a time of crisis.
And what would you have the Democrats do right now? Apart from encouraging going the distance with social distancing, and encouraging a better supply chain for PPEs while the experts work on faster, better and more testing as they also work on a vaccine? What more do you want? The Democrat (and many Republican) governors are doing what they can in their states, but they don't have federal authority. So what would you have them do over and above what they are already doing?
