Why would Trump have offered just a few days ago to bargain away three years of certainty for daca's if he thought the case was going to be settled by the end of june? You could say well because he thought he would lose, but you dont hear any dems either arguing that they should not bargain on daca because it will be settled in their favor by the end of the session.

Why would Trump start offering concessions when he is in the doghouse and over a barrel? Gee, I don’t know, maybe because he needed to do something, anything for a way out of an untenable situation he created for himself.

As I have said a few times, one of the problems in Washington is that there is too much compromise.

There is a fight that needs to be had. Let's get on with it. Let the federal employees eat cake pr put pressure on their dem reps, and if drunken tourists fall off the cliff taking selfies at the Grand Canyon, then that's their decision.
