Let's even assume your bribing and secretly removing sanctions part is true - what exactly was Obama trying to do with all that? Win a Nobel prize that he already had or we are going down the OBAMA WAS A MOOOSLIM route? What exactly are you insinuating?

Ok, I'll admit it was a cheap shot. I went back and re-read your original statement and thought you were spewing the same none-sense the right has been squawking...that the US tax payer somehow paid for said "bribes".

I'll concede that the refund could've been used among the top dogs in the Iranian government, but don't concede that the US willfully tried to grease palms (even if knowing full well who would benefit from the return of the funds). To me it was just a PR stunt for the Iranian people as a token of goodwill of past transgressions. A cheap one too for the compromises achieved.

I'd recommend you read up on Iran though....FOX has been painting a silly picture, and the rest of the media don't care enough to cover it. Sure all candidates are vetted by the Ayatollah who ultimately are quasi puppets, but it's a far cry from being a dictatorship, and a far cry from a royalty we supported instead.
