No. You have to keep testing the same people over and over. We need to be able to do tens of thousands of tests per day.
Look at this failure:
footnote says "does not include state labs." Yet all the testing action or capability is set up at the state lab level now in the U.S. per CDC oversight and authorization.
California for example says that as of the end of last week it had tested over five hundred in its state lab.

Whatever you say, bro. This is what we need though. Drive through testing, cost waivers for testing, testing first, second and third contacts, testing with every flu swab. Just non stop testing.
Something is better than nothing but 500 tests is nowhere near what California should be testing.
Testing capacity should have been maxed out two weeks ago. We had 2 months to prepare for this.
And I know the numbers are mind boggling but the goal is to control the spread, catch the infections early and not blow out hospital capacity.
