So you have been paying taxes into the USA, as a Canadian citizen? Do you have dual citizenship?
Do you think the military and Americans that are anti-Putin (Russia) will give Trump a free pass especially in the wake of social unrest in the U.S. and after learning about Putin's bounty on the heads of American soldiers abroad ?

If he has dual citizenship...due to treaty laws...he'll be smart to pay his taxes in Canada.
In contrast, if he's a dual citizen and still own a home in the U.S. or property while residing in Canada...he'll still need to pay state taxes in the state of that home or property.
I myself do such because I'm a dual citizen that resides in Canada with a home & property in the U.S. I have to pay state taxes. Also, smart to get a tax lawyer that specializes in both Canada / U.S. tax laws...especially if you're also a citizen of a 3rd country.

You know how you can tell if Trump is reading a script off a teleprompter? By the monotone, put-you-to-sleep voice that pauses at the wrong times just the way a slow kid would do it at a remedial reading class. (Was that you?) The only way you know he's riffing off script is when you hear words like amazing, fantastic, or terrible. You know it's true.
I'm not a resident in the US. However, Toronto is one of the most capitalistic cities on the continent, and Canadian professionals are heavily recruited by US based firms all the time. There are reasons that is the case.
Both Trump's and Biden's speeches were good and well written.... to cater to their bases.

Naaaa, they should have let Trump be Trump. At least a little more than he was.
They could have dumped the last part where he was going on about Lewis and Clark etc, and let him have at it. The whole history lesson was a bit too overdone and easy fodder for those who could point out the real history of what we did to our indigenous people as we moved west.
Trump is much more entertaining in his "rally-mode", albeit to your point about swing voters... who knows.
The speech was 40 minutes too long..long-winded and was like a high schooler wrote it going on and on about history and all crap that Trump had nothing to do with more or less haha
