Trumpiness is a strong indicator of a high Covid death rate - Most deadly U.S. Counties

I've been following the interactive charts about the "healthiness of each state" for many months now...watching the changes from month to month.

At one point (can't remember the specific months)...it almost looked like a voting map of the U.S. elections.

Even farther.Year to year decade to decade the most conservative states are always ranked the least healthy.Republicans do everything they can to deny healthcare, they are the poorest states, have the most uninsured, little to no regulations, let big business pollute to their hearts content etc

I spoze there is an argument that can be made making the case that the reason blacks and hispanics have a higher rate of covid is because they overwhelmingly live in democrat elected officials districts.

I try not to go full idiot this early in the week though.

If others would do the same that would be great.
Except that the aggregate numbers are still worse in Trump counties. So much for your argument, eh?

Congratulations on achieving full idiot-hood this early in the week.

Is that just like in extreme liberal states of New York and California? How many thousands have died because of the gross incompetence and arrogance of Andrew Cuomo and Gavin Newsom? Don't worry, your state of North Caroline having a lot of extreme liberals moving in, you live in your extreme liberal bubble and real safe. Good luck with that!

You must have had a big bowl of stupid for breakfast.

Sheesh.

Idiots looking at county data to try to make the case that areas of trump support are more covid prone. Meanwhile entire lefty states such as California and New York up to their arses in covid over the last year.

But you got your paid post in - so that gets your day off to a good start and most likely the only money you will make today.

Guess you don't understand the concept of "per capita"..... as a percentage of the population "Trump counties" have many more COVID deaths and cases.

Pointing to highly populated states and saying they are "up to their arses in covid over the last year" -- is next to meaningless in context of the discussion.

The point that "Trump counties" are more prone to high levels of COVID deaths and cases on a per population basis is pretty much proven from the presented statistics. The question becomes why -- is it their lack of following basic public health mandates, do they have inferior medical systems, is it related to average weight/health/age --- or a combination of many factors.

A more fair reading would be a breakdown this by county then overlay voting patterns
In the Southern states you will see the numbers are skewed greatly by the blue counties

The entire premise of the original post in this thread was to - First break it down by county then second overlay the voting results by county. The Southern states obviously are over-represented in the top 100 by red counties -- as shown by the tables for Cases and Deaths.

Not really. Actually it is more of an inconvenient factor for those trying to make the case that Trump supporters are more covid prone. The county data works for ya but a lot of the state data does not. So guess which angle you want to view it from.

And, as discussed, minorities are allegedly more covid prone. So that must be caused their inate stupidity and neanderthalness that causes them to vote for democrats. Or so the jaundiced logic of this thread would dictate.

Alright. Nuff. Kind of rathole.

You are just too fucking stupid for words; no sense wasting them.
