Even with video these thugs might get off.They had audio of Zimmermen admitting he was chasing Martin and Martin was running way but still ruled Zimmerman was defending himself.Hope it doesn't happen again but I wouldn't be surprised if it does.
I love how police and conservatives go find things after the fact to justify why someone shot the guy even though any fucktard would know there is no way they would know of it.

There was a legal commentator on the news last night stating that the Zimmerman case and this case in Georgia are very different legally. In the Georgia case - at least one of two men confronted Ahmaud Arbery while openly carrying a firearm with the intent of "terrorizing the public" -- so effectively a crime was potentially committed even before the trigger was pulled and it was clear that one of the two men initiated the physical contact.
There is no law that you cannot follow someone in your neighborhood. You have just as much rights to walk through it as anyone else. In the Zimmerman case - all the evidence indicates that Trayvon Martin initiated the physical contact and Zimmerman defended himself from being beaten with a concealed firearm which he was licensed to carry.
Legally these are two very different situations -- according to the legal analyst.

You have a right to walk through a neighborhood but you do not have a right to follow someone..

it is called stalking and harrassing. example in California for example:
Under Penal Code 646.9 PC, California law defines the crime of stalking as following, harassing, and threatening another person to the point that the person fears for his or her safety. Stalking can be charged as a misdemeanor or a felony and a conviction can carry up to 5 years in jail or prison.
I the ZIMMERMAN case, Zimmerman specifically said that he was going to follow Trayvon and 911 TOLD HIM NOT TO. (let's not make up facts but use the ones we got).
Also, if you are following me and confront me, I have the right to defend myself, I don't know who the fuck you are and why you are following me in the dark....maybe you are going to mug me....why does Zimmerman get all the benefit of the doubt to protecrt himself but the guy followed and confronted gets none?

who initiates the physical contact is irrelevant. If you push me in a bar and I take a bat and crack you over the head I am going to jail. If I follow you and you turn and tackle me yelling at me to stop followng... I am allowed to shoot you and kill you? Why? Because I had the right to claim I wwas scared but you don't? Oh that is right you are dead you cannot claim anything, I get to tell the whole story and everyone will just believe me.
Actually 911 advised him not to --- this is different then "telling him not to". Taking a walk in your neighborhood is legal. Probably was wise advice which Zimmerman chose to ignore - but it does not impact his legal situation.

"Stalking and harrassing" IMO opinion is not likely to apply if there has been no previous history - and the person is merely following you but not harassing you verbally or threatening you. Stalking is unlikely to apply unless there is an existing restraining order.
If I am merely following you and not confronting you.... you do not have any right to "defend yourself". If you "defend yourself" in this situation you will be tried for assault if you get physical or on other charges if you are threatening someone.
The Zimmerman / Trayvon situation had no winners. In fact both parties were not very likeable and had many flaws.
There is an epidemic of visceral fat making middle aged and older armed men very angry and very certain. Road rage America.
Not taking away from the crime but why do guys go into kill mode? Why do they become obsessed with dark thoughts where all options disappear into a tunnel?
As someone who because of my very big stature (under 10 percent body fat) has always had to be calm or cause people to panic and always looked on to stop the little tubby maniacs.. I strongly believe there are too many men set up for hair trigger responses by hormone issues and their own pudgy torsoes.
