The majority of Americans didn't vote for Trump to be their president.

popular vote is not the game... the campaign would have been run completely differently if it were;

the mid term was in a way a referendum on the president, but it's not a presidential election;

and the polls... well.. how much credibility is left after the all got 2016 wrong.
