Trump Wins...Again. Stock Market At All Time Highs

The Dems need the right candidate and they need some things to break their way (i.e. bad economy, significant scandal, etc). Trump is beatable but it is far from a given.

All they need is Trump to run against. They got 3 and than 10 million more votes the last 2 times they did.

Here is an interesting antidote. My mother, a true swing voter, who voted for Obama and Clinton, is appalled by the "socialist" talk of the likes of Warren, Sanders and other candidates. If the democratic candidate cannot get my mother's vote because they have gone so far to the left, it is total game over for the Dems come 2020. Oh, and she lives in Florida.
old people losing their mind scare easy by fox news
I was watching CNBC a few weeks ago, and one of the commentators said something really interesting. Over half of the democratic base is over the age of 50, and they identify as either moderate or conservative. Democrats are putting themselves in real danger of losing the election if a far left candidate wins the primaries. IMO, Biden has the best chance of beating Trump.

I was thinking the same thing about Biden until I saw him in the debate...he was looking quite old.

People admitted their true feelings when dems won by 3 million votes in 2016 than 10 million votes in 2018 after seeing Trump in action for 2 years.
Like when Odumbo got destroyed in the 2010 midterms? Seemed to work out ok for the Demtards.

You make a good point Lacesout. After losing big in 2010 Obama did worse in 2012 than he did in 2008. Obama won by 10 million votes in 2008,than by 5 million in 2012.After losing the 2010 mid terms by 6 million votes Obama won by 5 million fewer votes in 2012 than he did in 2008.

Obama lost the 2010 midterms by 6 million votes, than got 4 million fewer votes in 2010. If Trump has the same fate as Obama Trump losing the 2018 mid terms by 10 million votes means he might get around 7 million fewer votes than he did in 2016.Thats not good for a guy who lost by 3 million votes the first time.

He may beat the popular vote with 3 million votes but not 5-10 million

You may also want to look at polls and 2018 senate results if you think winning The EC will be easy next time.Democrats won the Senate races in Pennsylvania,Wisconsin,Michigan,Nevada,Virginia ,Minnesota ,Arizona and Ohio in2018,the states that will decide 2020.They only lost Texas by 2.5 points and Texas has been trending blue very fast. They lost FL by 50,000 votes but up to 1.5 million ex felons will be allowed to vote in FL for the first time and its likely to be democratic.
